By Lisa Abraham So you think you're cooking for a big Super Bowl party? You've got nothing on Twinsburg chef Brandt Evans, who will depart this week for Florida to cook for the biggest Super Bowl party of them all, the Taste of the NFL. Evans will represent Canton's Pro Football Hall of Fame and will join chefs representing the 31 member cities of the NFL for the party, which takes place Saturday in Fort Lauderdale.
Evans, who is co-owner and executive chef at Blue Canyon Kitchen & Tavern in Twinsburg, won his spot at the Taste of the NFL event held at the hall of fame in 2008. Proceeds of the local event went to the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. Evans, incidentally, also won in 2009, which means he'll be heading to Dallas for the 2011 party as well. |
